This procedure is applicable on all Innova 2100-IQ/3100/4100 systems at installation. It concerns all Innova 2100-IQ/3100/4100 systems at a periodicity required by the country. This procedure answers IEC 61223-3-1 §5.2 and 6.2. It shall be a procedure to check the voltage accuracy displayed against the actual one. It shall be done with a non invasive kVpmeter. Measurements shall be done at 60, 80, 100 and 120 kVp with mA at least 50% of their maximum. Measurements shall be done at 80 kVp at lowest and highest tube current usable.

Check that all the covers and filters are in place.
Systems shall be fully calibrated before applying this test.
Set the geometrical parameters as indicated in the figure below and therefore:
Set the Source to Image Distance (SID)= Max.
Set the table out of the X-ray beam.
Set in place the lead beam blocker.
Set the kVp Meter centered on the tube cover.

Set the system in manual mode using X220 Tool. To launch X220 tool, proceed as following:
If any exam started, do on the DL console, “End Current Exam”.
Click on the “Service” button of the DL browser, hence the Service User Interface (SUIF) appears.
Then, click on the left side tree on “HHS & Dose Measurement”.
Select “X220 Generic”.
The following page then appears:

Set the following parameters as constant:
Exp. Mode = Cardiac
Frame Rate = 30 fps
Focal Spot = Variable (put nothing)
kVp = Variable (put nothing)
mAPeak = Variable (put nothing)
Pulse width = 7
Spectral Filter = None
DLB Presence = Yes
Collimator LONG = 3800 (Innova 4100), 2850 (Innova 3100), 1900 (Innova 2100-IQ)
Collimator LAT = 3800 (Innova 4100), 2850 (Innova 3100), 1900 (Innova 2100-IQ)
Enter in the table for manual setting, the parameters (Focal Spot, kVp and mAp) given in the Test Data Results report for the measuring point 1.
Then, click on “Submit” to configure the system with the new values.
Then, press and hold down the handswitch to start X-ray.
Record the kVp value, “kVp Read” in the Test Data Results report.
Redo if necessary this point as many times as indicated in the Test Data Results report.
For each point do the following :
Fill the Test Data Results report for the calculation of the kVp Accuracy.
Fill the Test Data Results report for Pass/Fail for this test.
